Meet Your Legal Team
We believe great legal work starts with real connection. This page is your chance to get to know the people who show up for you — the strategist behind your case, the team supporting every detail, and the minds dedicated to protecting what matters most.
Berkley Sweetapple
Berkley Sweetapple is the founding attorney of Berkley Sweetapple Law. After graduating from Wake Forest University and earning her law degree from Boston College Law School, she spent seven years practicing civil litigation—guiding businesses through complex legal disputes.
That experience revealed a pattern: most of the issues clients were fighting over could have been avoided with the right legal protections in place from the start.
During that time, Berkley launched a legal lifestyle blog as a creative outlet. As the blog grew, she found herself connecting with women building online businesses—women who were visionary and driven, but missing the legal support needed to scale with confidence. What began as a side project quickly became a mission.
In 2021, she founded Berkley Sweetapple Law to bring high-level legal strategy to entrepreneurs, coaches, creatives, and founders in the digital space. Since then, the firm has supported over 500 clients in protecting their brands, offers, content, and contracts—allowing them to grow from a solid foundation.
Berkley believes legal protection isn’t just a practical step—it’s a powerful tool that allows entrepreneurs to be more visible, more confident, and more fully expressed in the businesses they’re building. Her work is rooted in creating peace of mind, so clients can focus on doing what they love.
In addition to leading the firm, Berkley runs The Business Studio, a legal template shop for online entrepreneurs. She’s a mom of three (one boy and twin girls) and lives in Boca Raton, Florida—but spends as much time as she can skiing and hiking in Whitefish, Montana.
Jessica Honeycutt
As the firm’s Lead Attorney, Jessica specializes in supporting creatives and entrepreneurs to protect the innovations that drive their businesses forward. In her day-to-day practice, she leads and manages all legal projects across the firm, taking the lead on strategy, execution and team oversight to ensure each matter is handled with precision. Her work includes trademark and copyright prosecution, contract drafting and negotiation and helping clients develop strategic legal safeguards that support sustainable business growth. Her goal is to ensure clients’ assets remain protected from infringement and legal pitfalls so they can confidently excel in the marketplace.
With a background in intellectual property litigation, Jessica has represented clients in Florida and in multiple federal district courts throughout the United States, including the Eastern District of Virginia, Eastern District of Tennessee, Central District of California, and the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida. Her litigation experience has focused on trademark and copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract and related causes of action. This experience allows her to anticipate risks early and address complex legal challenges with a proactive, strategic approach.
Prior to focusing on intellectual property law, Jessica began her legal career in criminal defense, which was an experience that sharpened her tenacity, strategic thinking and advocacy skills. She brings that same dedication to protecting her clients’ ideas and innovations, now with even more passion.
Outside of her legal practice, Jessica is deeply committed to her local legal community. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for both the Brevard County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers’ Division and the Vassar B. Carlton American Inn of Court. When she’s not working, she enjoys staying active and traveling with her family.
